  • Academics
  • Communication
  • Behavior
  • Activities of Daily Living
  • Social Skills

Potential’s Springtime School is in session 210 days of the year, and our regular school day is 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Our school is located within Potential’s Newtown-based center. Funding options include the adolescent’s school district, court settlements, and private pay.

Your Treatment Partner

At Potential’s Springtime School, our staff partner with families to develop an IEP that allows their loved one with autism to grow and thrive. We take the time to understand your loved one’s strengths and needs. We also consider previous-life experiences, present-day challenges, and future goals. Using this information, we create an IEP that engages your loved one in their education, helps to enhance their progress, and strives to improve their long-term abilities.

A Different Approach to Learning

Our staff’s deep understanding for applied behavior analysis (ABA) is what makes our Springtime School different. Drawing upon their knowledge and experience, our staff successfully apply ABA principles as part of regular daily instruction. In addition to offering a low teacher/student ratio (no more than six students to a teacher), each child is paired with a highly trained Behavior Technician who works with them throughout the day. Your child will also have access to onsite licensed Behavior Analysts, Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists.  Physical Therapy can be provided if necessary.
