Description

Behavior Technicians at Potential Inc. use Applied Behavior Analysis ABA principles to address the behavioral health needs of children ages 2-18 with Autism. As a Behavior Technician, you'll work one-on-one with a caseload of clients following individualized plans of care that address client strengths, needs, previous life experiences, present-day challenges, and future goals. Focus areas include addressing cognitive, communicative, social, emotional, and adaptive functioning.

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! This is considered an entry-level role. We welcome new graduates, career changers, and experienced candidates to apply. We provide in-depth paid training that prepares you to work with clients and to take the Registered Behavior Technician RBT exam to earn the RBT credential!

Full-time and a variety of part-time schedules are available!

Ability to gain experience in a variety of settings our clinics, public schools, daycares, private homes in two geographical regions: Lower Bucks County and Northeast Philadelphia.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES WILL YOU GAIN FROM THIS ROLE?

After training, you'll be able to work with children of varying levels of need, implement Applied Behavior Analysis ABA therapy programs following each client's individualized treatment plan, receive and incorporate feedback from your client's Board Certified Behavior Analyst BCBA in future sessions, maintain client safety and confidentiality, and accurately document client sessions by collecting data, writing session notes, and completing service logs timesheets. You'll gain the training and experience required to take the Registered Behavior Technician RBT exam and earn the RBT credential through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board BACB.

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Reliable transportation to see clients throughout our service areas
  • Ability to engage, play, and keep up with active children and adolescents
  • Basic proficiency with technology
  • Ability to attend one of our paid training courses and take the Registered Behavior Technician RBT exam after completing training
