To the Potential Inc. and Springtime School Family;

It is with deep sadneDylan Singer Obituary-Goldstein Funeral Homess that I must inform you of the passing of one of our students, Dylan Singer. Dylan suffered from a rare Jewish genetic disease. It was after a lifelong battle of nineteen and a half years that his body could not fight any longer. He passed peacefully Sunday morning while under the care of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.

I have known Dylan since he was in the intermediate unit’s early intervention program, over 15 years ago. His mother found me again in 2007 when the school age program in Philadelphia, and the private school they sent him to, were not working for him. The staff of Potential Inc. has had the pleasure of getting to know and working with Dylan ever since. In 2010, Potential Inc. officially opened and licensed the Springtime School elementary program so that Dylan could continue to attend school with us. In 2015, the Springtime School became a licensed high school for the same reason. If it were not for Dylan, the Springtime School would not exist today.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 26th, 2016, 9:15 A.M. at Goldsteins’ Rosenberg’s Raphael-Sacks Suburban North, 310 Second St. Pike, Southampton. Interment will follow at Shalom Memorial Park. Guests will be welcomed at Beth Am on 971 Old York Road in Abington.

In order to allow our staff and any families who wish to pay their respects, and in memory of Dylan, all sessions and school students are canceled for Tuesday, April 26th. We will resume normal operations on Wednesday, April 27th.

We thank you for your understanding during this difficult time.

Sincerely,

Kristine Quinby
