Nikki comes to Potential, Inc.’s Board of Directors with nearly 17 years’ experience as a practicing attorney, having clerked and managed litigation for the federal courts. She now teaches and researches in the areas of social justice, law, and communication. Nikki is on the faculty at the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Ph.D. candidate at Temple University’s Klein College of Media and Communication. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Georgetown University School of Law, and Temple University’s Beasley School of Law.

Throughout her career and volunteer work, Nikki’s responsibilities have included strategic communication, strategic planning, and advocating for those whose voices are often excluded from institutional decision-making. Believing that all people should be free to live a life they value, Nikki incorporates a capabilities perspective into her work. She brings this perspective to Potential.

Nikki currently lives in New Jersey with her husband and children. Her favorite pastimes are watching foreign films and hiking with her family.
