Who should attend? Parents of children with feeding problems (such as failure to thrive, or picky eating), pediatricians, special educators, psychologists, social workers and behavior analysts. The goal of the workshop is to provide participants with information on current research-based, effective practices in the area of pediatric feeding disorders. Participants will be able to identify behavioral-based strategies and resources to promote positive feeding behavior.

Kristine Quinby, Founder and CEO of Potential Inc., commented:”We are excited to have a leading expert like Dr. Casey come to Newtown to conduct this important workshop. We expect participants will become familiar with the major types of feeding disorders and obtain strategies to create successful outcomes for children demonstrating such behavior.”

Potential, Inc. serves the Autism and Developmental Disabilities communities ages 1-64. Since its inception in 2006, Potential has served over 135 individuals. Their therapists are trained in ABA-Verbal Behavior (VB), and services may be delivered at home, the clinic, a school, or in the community. Each client’s strengths and weaknesses are assessed to design a comprehensive program unique to his/her specific needs.
