Behavioral fluency has great potential to aid behavior analysts, teachers, and parents in their attempt to apply socially-valid, powerful interventions to the clients, students, and individuals they seek to help. This session will briefly review behavioral fluency and its learning outcomes. Participants will:

  • Learn how to schedule and develop behavioral fluency routines within treatment sessions or classroom activities
  • Practice implementing the steps of behavioral fluency routines including frequency measurement
  • Review and evaluate behavioral fluency performance data.

Kristine Quinby, Founder and CEO of Potential Inc., commented:”We are excited to have acclaimed authors like Kubina and Yurich come to Newtown to conduct this important workshop. Participants will be able to incorporate the acquired knowledge into their teaching and parenting expertise right away.”

Potential, Inc. serves the Autism and Developmental Disabilities communities ages 1-64. In 2015, Potential delivered over 30,000 hours of service to its clients. Their therapists are trained in ABA-Verbal Behavior (VB), and services may be delivered at home, the clinic, a school, or in the community. Each client’s strengths and weaknesses are assessed to design a comprehensive program unique to his/her specific needs.
